Defect Description	INSULATION OF THE ALTERNATOR AND POST WIRES ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES IS INSUFFICIENT; CORROSION MAY DEVELOP DUE TO CONTACT WITH SALT AND SAND USED IN SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL. CORROSION COULD LEAD TO AN ELECTRICAL SHORT BETWEEN THE ALTERNATOR BODY AND POST.
Effect of Defect
Fix Defect	CORROSION WILL BE REMOVED FROM WIRES AND POSTS, A BRACKET WILL BE INSTALLED, AND A PROTECTIVE COATING OF SILICON GREASE AND UNITROL WILL BE APPLIED.
