Effect of Defect	BUSES WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH FMVSS 217; INCORRECT OR TOOLONG EXIT INSTRUCTIONS COULD LEAD TO CONFUSION AND FURTHER HAZARD TOPASSENGERS ATTEMPTING TO EXIT THE BUS IN AN EMERGENCY.
Fix Defect	MODIFY ROOF RELEASE MECHANISM; REVISE WORDING OF LABELS; AND RELOCATE LABELS WITHIN 6 INCHES OF RELEASE MECHANISM.
